QUALITY
The Quality Systems are vital in Nodosa, as we understand that they are an added value for the company and a guarantee for our customers. Hence, all of our processes verify the standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001/2015, certified by Bureau Veritas.
Along this lines, one of our most sensitive procedures, welding, is creditor of countless approvals of the most recognized and international firms of the sector. In fact, the global welding workshop verifies the specifications of the prestigious Germanischer Lloyd set for this purpose.
For the same reason, the company as a whole has the highest level in the Classification given by the Spanish Administration as company of services for State Vessels in maintenance and repair: Q2D.

EFFORT AND CONSTANT INVESTMENT
Safety is a basic value at Nodosa; therefore, we have our own department, as well as an external one, devoted to the occupational hazard prevention in our industrial process.
Moreover, there are different Working Plans focused on specific formation of our staff, as well as on the modernization and reinforcement of the suitable team works. NODOSA knows that this investment represents a commitment to the present and the future, and, hence, is continually dedicating time to that.

Committed to the future
Respect for the environment should be a priority for the shipbuilding and industrial sector. With this in mind, here at Nodosa we preserve our surroundings and have developed procedures, following the ISO 14001 Standard and the EMAS II Standard on Environmental Management, that we have met with a participation in the National eCo Programme, by the Fundación Entorno.
Moreover, the integration of our Quality, Environment and Occupational Hazard Prevention systems in a single Total Quality Management System, has given greater strength and cohesion to our commitment with the future.
R&D&I
CREATION, IMPROVEMENT AND OPTIMIZATION
Since the beginnings of Nodosa, more than 40 years ago, the activity of designing, building and repairing vessels has changed considerably. This has led our company to implement continuous renewal in order to deal with the new market requirements.
An innovative culture is present in each and every one of our actions and, for this reason, we have set up our own R&D&I department that designs and implements new products and processes, while improving and optimizing those already in place.
